Any got a Bulldozer yet?

Interested in how they perform on Docking tasks compared to Phenom II's.

Hi.

I don't have one but did see a 8120 running a couple of weeks ago and it was

slower by about an hour per task then my 1055t running stock, so i don't think

i'll be getting one unless they can get them running a lot better.

ps/ i'll see if i can find it again & link it.

Found it FX 8120

Thanks for that!!!

15700 sec per unit..... that is seriously slow. My slightly souped up 1055T Can crunch one in 9100....

My mind's made up.... I'm going for a 1090T instead before they get killed off.

Hi.

I found a 8150 running on P.O.E.M. looks to be stock clocked i believe that's

3.6Ghz, & the O.S. is liunx r.c. so that takes windows out of the equation.
( mine is Ubuntu 10.04lts x64 )

So i've let my 1055T get some tasks( the same type ) out of interest to see if there is much difference, will update tomorrow.

Hi.

Ran some POEM over night here's the average per task.

poempp_barrelmutations__4,770 sec - my 1055T @ 2.8Ghz

poempp_barrelmutations__4,920 sec - 8150 @ 3.6Ghz - guessing here.

Rig link

Closer then the 8120 is on here but is still slower! disappointing.

Well, my 1090T should be here today and I should be able to get it running at 4GHz with a bit of luck.

Looks like I'll be sticking with my Phenom II's for quite a while.....

Glad I went for the 1090T.... averaging 8200 seconds per WU.

Finally found one doing Docking.

Host 107101

Approx 13850 seconds per core per WU for an FX 8150.

Now that's horrible o.O It's far worse even than an Athlon II, which at 3.1GHz crunches a WU in roughly 3 hours. And less than an hour better than my laptop C2D @1.8GHz, which needs aout 5 hours.
