Hi Peter,

I restarted the server, I hope the connections are fine now.

Hi jdickherber,

I changed the complex and increased the quotas, I really hope this complex is not gonna be as small as the others, but it may not be the case =( I'm sorry for the inconvenience

Must be getting worked on. I'm able to upload and report wu's but they aren't getting validated yet. Server messages says servers are down for maint. Interesting that I can still upload and report though.

Thank you both!!

We stopped some processes that were overwhelming the database and hopefully now it should be working smoothly.

Have a great day

Not sure it is a problem, maybe just an oddity.

Since yesterday, Docking must be "manually" updated to get my completed WUs reported.

I cannot seem to get anymore than tiny work units that take only 1 minute to complete...Very intermittent problem, however.

G'Day Pete,

I am gonna make a stab in the dark and say that Docking wants to run all work dry by the 19th so they can move the server to a new location without disturbing us all too much and trashing any workunits.

I say this as there is still no work available, so I have just put the two together to come up with this answer.

Conan.

Hi All,

Thank you Conan for your help answering this thread, indeed we wanted to keep a low volume of workunits distributed for the relocation. The new server is now physically here, but we are still in the process of moving the parts that need to be moved. From now until we have the new server completely in place we will keep a low distribution (due to the current issues with the space). But after that (in about 1 or 2 weeks) our distribution will be back to normal and we will start testing a new model (model 14: more complex, longer and accurate than the model 13 that we are testing currently)

Thank you all for your patience with the project.

Regards

That's strange, we have not changed the signatures in at least 1 month. Maybe it was that the files were corrupted. Anyway, I'll check other 1hih workunits to see if it was an issue of the ligand

Thank you

Given that it's the weekend now, I expect the no work situation will last until Monday.

Well.. not Monday, not Tuesday... which day would be the right one?

I'm wondering because i can't see any information about the problem. But there are a lot of people which got no workunits since about 2 days...

Docking was a very stable projekt until now. Now the question: When will it work as good as usual?

Yes, due to the recent problems of the server we had to keep a low distribution rate, also our daemons have to be restarted about 3 times a day, which may cause an interruption in the service that ranges from 1 to 15 minutes every time, unfortunately those restarts are needed to change the complex being distributed or some parameters in our models

Hi.

Hope someone is looking into this.

No response from Docking folks yet. See the post regarding workunits taking only 38 seconds and that will tell you what's going on. But till Docking folks see and fix this it's doubtful we'll get many workunits as we burned through 40,000 of them in less than a minute each and only a few are still left.

Yes, we had very bad problems in the server room, starvation was one of them, unfortunately very short workunits was even worst. Hopefully you are not getting some of these nasty jobs. We are working to bring docking back to normal.

So sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience

Hi Trilce Estrada,
thank you for this important information. We are hoping to go back to normal work.
By the way in the last days your server was sometimes unreachable for me.
Hoping all problems will be resolved soon.

Regards heinz

Hello anyone home.

Could SOMEONE / ANYONE have a look it the dam servers, they have been spitting

out garbage tasks with 0 byte size for days now and if that's not bad enough they

will run forever if there not caught and deleted.

Please do yourself and us crunchers a favour.

We are back distributing jobs. We removed all the jobs with potential 0% progress that were in our database. Unfortunately some jobs were distributed by the time we worked on the database. Can you please abort those jobs with 0% progress and get new jobs?

Thanks,

Michela

Hi.

Is the validator stuck, because i've a few tasks that have been sitting there for a while now (hours) waiting they normally don't take that long.

thanks

Hi,

Thanks for noticing the problem and the quick feedback! One of the docking daemons was overwhelmed by the results we collected back and it left out a few of them, this is why some of your workunits waited for a little longer than usual. But they should be granted credits now. Thanks!!
