Merging computers function broken

I know this can't even be acted on for a while, but I'd like to add it to the "to do" list, when things ramp up.

I know this can't even be acted on for a while, but I'd like to add it to the "to do" list, when things ramp up. I think (wish) the server should be upgrated when the team get ready to work at delaware. But isn't merging already enabled with this version? I'm not sure though. What do you mean that the function is broken? suguruhirahara ____________

What do you mean that the function is broken? Merging works if everything is exactly identical. However, a while back, new versions of BOINC created slightly different processor descriptions, which sometimes created new hostids. For example: GenuineIntel Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.20GHz [x86 Family 15 Model 6 Stepping 4] GenuineIntel Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.20GHz [x86 Family 15 Model 6 Stepping 4] [fpu tsc pae nx sse sse2 mmx] The old merge application on the project server prevents me from merging this same computer. So, you can merge your hosts on other projects, which have already been upgraded to the latest version of boinc server, right? suguruhirahara ____________

So, you can merge your hosts on other projects, which have already been upgraded to the latest version of boinc server, right? It would work on any server upgraded to a version 5.11. ____________ Do you want to get banned for 31 years and your account & credits deleted at a Boinc project ? Predictor@home is your best choice. |
