Even with the latest version, charmm (with screensaver) is still crashing instantly on my Mac. Here's a sample task result.

Running charmm manually exits immediately because there's no input data -- if someone would point me at an init file so I can try to see what's going wrong I'd appreciate it.

Or at least respond... am I the only one having problems with a Mac running Charmm??

hi [B^S] sTrey,
Thanks for your feedback. We will be updating the charmm executable for Intel Mac soon and that should fix the problem you are having. Thanks for your patience.

cheers

I've tested Docking successfull with CrossOver on MacOS Intel. A howto is available on my homepage : http://www.dotsch.de/boinc/MacOS_Crossover_howto.html
But, it's only a workaround and did not subsitude a native MacOS application...

No. At http://docking.cis.udel.edu/status/apps.php there is no Mac OS listed for the newer application versions (7.x)

Sorry, we currently do not have the man/women power to maintain the Mac version.

This may change in the future if we find new funding for the project.

Several people have already volunteered to compile the apps *for* the project. Is there some reason to not take them up on their offer?

Yes liability ...

If that person adds a zombie or some other malicious code to the application the project / university is on the hook for the problem ...

Yes, that is a possible answer. But perhaps not the actual reason. I am asking for reason, not speculation...and from the project, not us volunteers.

P.S. You can cut the length of your stats sig in half like this:
