Could somebody with a Mac OS X 10.2 system help out David Braun at Predictor?

http://predictor.scripps.edu/forum_thread.php?id=2505

This might help docking in the long run as well.

Thanks
Andre

Predictor and Docking are different projects but they do use a few of the same software tools and exchange information about dealing with problems with the tools. If Predictor solves a problem with one of the software tools or adds a feature and then shares the information, it helps Docking if Docking runs into the same problem or bug with that particular software tool.

I believe that this particular problem is related to compiling Fortran applications for BOINC on the Mac PPC.

David is right. Sorry, didn't understand your question. The initial predictor that Michela set up a couple of years ago also used Charmm, but with a different algorithm then we do here at D@H (P@H was about predicting protein structure and D@H is about docking ligands into proteins). Now I don't think P@H uses charmm anymore, but an app called Tasser. They have the same problems as we do on PPC macs though in that there is a dependency on some fortran libraries that we need to get rid off.

Thanks
Andre
