it gives 34 credits only, but it should be 4 times more. Here's what I'm talking about:
http://docking.cis.udel.edu/community/workunit.php?wuid=16682072
http://docking.cis.udel.edu/community/workunit.php?wuid=16681971

usually i'm getting 130ish for the Wus, but not i'm granted 34 credits only.

Smth wrong with validator?

I saw my RAC went down and I decided to find out - why?

The only difference - I've got way more then 10 WUs like that, but the worst thing - all new WUs, which I'm crunching right now, are like that :(

So, I'm not alone? welcome to the club :-)

It's not fair in terms of credits, but does not really matter though. Just if there is a way to fix it - pls fix, if not - I will survive :-)

At the moment, I have about 40 WU's, proclaiming they will take from 10:52 to 11:03 EACH! That would be hours and minutes. Gonna be a LONG haul.

The low credit is not just confined to "1ec11g2k" work units.

I am getting low credit on (all 34 points) 4 different types now

1ec11g2k_mod0014crossdockinghiv1
1ebw1g2k_mod0014crossdockinghiv1
1ebz1g2k_mod0014crossdockinghiv1
1g351g2k_mod0014crossdockinghiv1

So far amounting to 36 work units with more to process.

Also as reported in the previous post, all the work units still to be processed are now showing greatly extended run estimates.
On a machine that would normally take less than 3 hours it is showing 11 hours, and on a machine that takes just over 4 hours it is showing 20 hours to run.

Something is a bit strange here.

Till now I had 8 workunits with those 34 cr granted.
They all were sent on Nov 21st.
Several workunits the days after were ok.

I was still getting them up till the 23rd.

It is possibly a validator problem as the same work unit types are now granting the normal credit amount per work unit.

So I received the faulty work unit types from the 21st till the 24th and 25th but the credit was only low from the 21st till the 23rd and has been OK since.

Problem popped up again.
As you can see, the last WUs took approximately the same time as the ones before, they just got a smaller amount of credits granted, all 34.
As I got as well some of those extremely well paid 102ers before, nothing really bad happened, just some compensation, but I'd like to get the usual credits nevertheless.

This is starting to get annoying!!!!

Just coming up to 4 million and now thinking about switching to another project if the variable credits continue.

Starting to think about switching to WCG.

As the last ones are normal again, methinks it was just a wee glitch, nothing really bad.
Would be fine though if those glitches, as wee as they may be, could be avoided in the future, be it those heavily overpaying 102ers, or those meagre 34ers. But as long as both pop up from time to time, even this will be compensated over time.

The low paying units are still popping up...... They seem to be easy to spot as their calculated run time is lower than regular units.

Hi.

I really would like someone from the project to have a look at this problem, it's been very quiet of late.

Keep getting these 3+hr tasks that give very low credits, like so.

I am monitoring the result validator and in the past days the average amount of credits per job has been between 130 and 140 credits. Unfortunately I also saw some jobs getting 34 credits. I am looking a this issue. Keep me posted from your side.

The low credit wus appear only 5-10 times, and they are the ones associated to the complex "1m0b1ohr", but when we check all the results associated with "1m0b1ohr" from the admin page, they mostly received normal credits for most of the time (1 out of 400 results receive 34 credit). We are still trying to understand what else could be the reason.

Yes, 1hsg-1hvi complex was a tough one :-)

The ligand did not wanted to dock in the protein at all. The good news is that the code is robust and does not crash but sends us back the information that the ligand is not fitting in the protein pocket.

This is science :-)
