When I was reading posts on the forums, I tried to change the size of characters bigger. But main texts weren't changed and remained the same size. How to change it?

thanks,
suguruhirahara

Suguru,

Can you be a bit more specific? I just changed the font size using my browser (Apple-Shift - and + on the Mac) and it works fine. But maybe this is not what you mean...

Ok, when I changed the font size (IE7, vista), indeed font size of eg header and rules was changed, but that of posts(messages), date, and signature wasn't changed. I'm not sure if this is due to config of browser, but it can be.

All of my fonts (incl posts) change when I increase or decrease font size. I think you have a problem with your browser/OS.

Thanks!
Andre

Yes, I agree. When I use other browser Opera and Firefox, the font size can be changed! This probably is due to IE7.

As our website at the bottom states:

'This site is best viewed with Firefox'

There is a reason for this :-)

The reason it doesn't work in MSIE is that the style sheet uses font sizes specified in pixels, which has always been a problem in MSIE.

It's one of the reasons I don't use that browser, but when I was designing websites, I usually stayed clear of pt or px font sizes because I know many people will visit my sites with MSIE.

Now as for Andre's reason... Might it be because you're looking for more participants with non Windows based hosts???

thanks for info, webmaster:)
To be honest IE isn't really great one. In fact I prefer Opera. But on vista the non-microsoft browser always forces the Aero to change into the Basic when it loads Flash, which is just annoying. Once that's fixed I no longer will use IE:)

Nah! We are just big Firefox fans and have optimized the site for that browser (at least I think Karina did) :-) Hey we might help world domination of Firefox a little bit :-)

I will make Karina aware of the pixel issue though.
