I'm not sure what to say, something like excellantish.

Despite having a bad head ache from staring at a screen all day long, I took time to read the entire issue shortly after receiving it. I think the D@H team is doing an excellent job with this newsletter, It is well laid out and easy to read and understand. So I think for those that might not be fully knowledgeable in this subject can still follow along and comprehend what is going on with the project and being discussed in the newsletter.

It helps me stay on top of what is going on, while some of the information might be a repeat of discussions on the forum, it is sometime hard to follow all the discussions. I think this will also keep those that participate but do not have the time to always read the forum up to date and keep them interested in the project.

I participate in a lot of the projects, its getting to be too many to keep up with all of them, some I have no clue as to what they are doing and there is just not enough time to even try to follow along. Other projects do not communicate as well and I loose interest. mainly because I can not be certain my time and my computers time is being used wisely so I move on to where it is more clear what it is being used for. Maybe when I retire (half way there) I can keep up with everything, but not now.

I give the newsletter three thumbs up.

I read it and I liked it. I really appreciate your efforts to keep in touch with us volunteers. The Docking team's efforts at keeping in touch with us both with the news letter and in the forums is the main reason I stay.

While I support a number of projects, Docking is becoming more and more my favorite.
We are kept informed.
We are included.
Our forum postings are responded to in a timely manner.
The project has goals that are obtainable and very worthwhile.
Willing to work to get almost any type of computer to join (e.g. AMD K6).

The Newsletter is a great idea that I am glad has kept going with news that we all can understand (most of it at least).

As Andre says on each post, "The greatest Project, a while from now".
(If it isn't the best yet, then Andre, you and the Docking team are deffinately trying to make it the best).

Keep up the great work.

:-) Docking, Doing the best, at trying to be the best.

agreed, I enjoy any chance at learning and find that these newsletters make Me feel like I am part of this project, like You Engage My mind, as well as My computers.

Great newsletter.

One question of mine is why PDF? I personally think HTML works better. At least on my Linux machine reading PDF format is slow and the pages changes are rather odd (i seem to remember windoze being almost as bad). HTML is universal (even more universal than PDF and generally a lot easier to view.

PDF is uneditable when it's locked. I think this is the main reason.
I hate the adobe software, too! It's too slow to use without irritation :(

I propose to use Preview on Mac and xpdf on Linux: much, much faster than adobe reader. I'm sure on Windows there are other faster alternatives as well.

Thanks!
AK

I may not understand everything that you are saying in the newsletter, but it does give a lot of info. One of the things that I like about this project is the effort that evryone puts into answering our questions, giving us feedback and letting us know what is going on. Excellent job and keep up the good work!
