Hi! I understand the project is in Alpha, so of course this won't be a priority and I just want to help as much as I can, but:

Is there any official way to maximize my CPU usage when I'm not doing anything important on my MacPro? I don't even notice that it runs all the time, even when using Photoshop or watching videos or anything. I can't help but think my computer is underworked! I don't want my machine to be lazy!

Anyway, no biggie either way. If y'all have anything nasty-big you want to get processed, send it my way! My computer is usually on 24/7.

-- It mostly runs all night... mostly...

BOINC works really well in the fact that its happy to use every CPU cycle you are not using. You generally don't even notice this as it scales back extremely well to only use what your other applications are not using.
To make shure it uses everything available and set your general preferences to use the computer when in use and use 100% of CPU.
Beware though running at 100% CPU 24/7 like my machines at home do can generate a lot of heat and noise and uses more power than the computer sitting idle when not in use. But join the fun and games :)

Cool. Thanks! I guess I'm probably maxed-out already, then!
