I am a team founder and want people to start joining the project and my team but my friend is finding it impossible to join as he keeps getting asked for a key he cant get

At the moment, this project is in alpha test and on invitation only. If you know of people with Macs or Linux machines (we still need some of those), they can write an email to dockingadmin@utep.edu and we send them the invitation code.

At the top of the account creation page in it's german version si this sentence:
WICHTIG: Verwenden Sie dieses Formular bitte nur, wenn Sie noch eine BOINC-Version älter als 5.2 einsetzen. Starten Sie ansonsten einfach BOINC, wählen Sie 'Projekt anmelden' und geben Sie eine E-Mailadresse und ein Passwort ein. Translation (I dunno how to look at the english page, so I cant say whether it's there as well): Important: Use this form only if you're using a BOINC-Version older than 5.2. Otherwise simply start BOINC, chose "Attach to project" and insert your email and a password. As the mentioning of the invitation code is not that prominent, people may get confused, and one member if a german team just got so. It also very clearly states: 'A valid invitation code is required to create an account'. Also when you try to connect with the boinc manager directly, you get the same message and the creation fields are greyed out. I assume that all the other languages state the same messages.

THX for that. BTW: You'll soon recieve a mail from the guy (a linux puter, ubuntu64) who tried and didn't read properly (or have already recieved.
