Lately, in the past week or two, I've noticed a huge slowdown in the processing of workunits. My computer is not running at the percentage that it used to, though that doesn't account for the 5X+ amount of time it's now taking me to complete a workunit. I've tried (multiple times):

Lately, in the past week or two, I've noticed a huge slowdown in the processing of workunits. My computer is not running at the percentage that it used to, though that doesn't account for the 5X+ amount of time it's now taking me to complete a workunit. I've tried (multiple times): @John, I'm sure this is a result of the 5.05 WUs. I don't think you can do anything to your IntelMAC until the project resolves the issue. You can look at Conan's 1569 and see that it doubled the time to process WUs from 5.04 to 5.05. My Intel Duals on Linux were barely affected......something like 30 minutes longer. My 64-bit Linux Opterons won't run 5.05s........they were running 5.04s perfectly. |

The same here. All Intel Macs needs 11 hours for 1 WU, with 5.04 they need 1 hour 37 minutes. I have reset the project or disconnected to D&H and reconnect, by that doesn't help. So it must be a problem with charmm 5.05, i would say. |

] Yes.........I am running 64-bit Ubuntu 7.04. It was running the 5.04s alright. Error messages in Message 3009 of Thread: Issues with new 5.05 Linux application. I didn't mean to imply they were crashing because of the Opterons, but I think it could be the wrapper. I'm eating other WUs on those two machines until you fix the issue. |

This has been fixed. Was due to a typo in the 64-bit wrapper. Can only say I'm sorry about letting it slip in!! Now back to the execution time increase problem...
