The best: When it worked, it worked well.

The worst: What about not solving persistent user problems under Windows7 64-bit ?

I loved crunching for you guys and for your studies. I was absent for a few months and just started crunching again for Docking yesterday and now I read you're shutting down. Not cool, but I guess it's better that way if you're undermanned and can't properly manage the project. The biggest issue I had with Docking is the frequent lack of response from those in charge but I guess this is related to the lack of manpower.

Thanks for all the fish! :)

For the most part this has been a set and forget project (a good thing). Unfortunately there have been times when tasks didn't progress (which caused problems).

Hopefully the results will be of great use to other researchers.

Sorry to hear this project is winding up, but nothing lasts for ever.

The Docking@Home project has been a major crunching project for Team Phoenix Rising in which we have contributed about 5% of the total work done and sit proudly in second place in the team rankings. It is sad news that D@H is retiring but we all hope the work done has achieved something positivein the field of medical research.

Just passed the 20 Million credit milestone within the last week and would have probably hit 25 Million this time next year.

Thanks for being a reliable project, it has been very rare when I have run out of work and haven't suffered many problems running D@H.

All the best for the future

Pretty much agree with TheFiend...

I have loved D@H and am really gutted that the project is coming to a close, I do hope that the work that has been done can be used constructively in the future. My personal target was for number one produced points in the UK and I was on target to complete that by this time next year... I will just have to accept 2nd is a pretty decent spot :) I will keep going until the last day ;)

Thanks again for the great project.

I hope the results are useful and look forward to any news of further medical application of the output of our crunching.

Too bad you hardly maintained a Mac app at the very beginning and let it die soon after, I think I must have about 40000 points here...

Hope you'll have time to power new projects of your own.

Tis a shame to see the project come to an end. It was obvious from when I started 2 years ago that this project suffered from a lack of funding/support. But it kept chugging along and I have been happy to support it.
I hope our contributions have helped in some way towards futhering our understanding of science.

Good luck in your future endevors!

How much funding do you need per month? Maybe we can fund you at least partially on Bitcoin Utopia .

Please, contact me, if you are interested in getting funding from Bitcoin Utopia.

Best regards from Henri (Bitcoin Utopia).

The project has had one or two problems, but nothing too bad, I have regarded it as reliable. I hope we have achieved something. Well done, happy to have helped.

Best wishes for the future.

Very sad to see D@H closing down, I've been with you since 2009, you were one of my first projects and I have contributed continuously to D@H and many others ever since.
I don't ever remember having problems and this was really one of the projects I found easy to run.
My spare CPU cycles have many other projects to go to, I hope everyone connected to this effort goes on to contribute elsewhere.

It's sad to hear that you've had to close this project. I hope that at least the work of the community was useful...

Sorry to see you close down Docking.

I have been with you from the start, lots of work early on, and still a favourite project that I will miss.

Hope the research we assisted you with has helped you a great deal.

All the best

Thanks for the project, the hard work of the staff, and all the science.
Docking@Home will be missed!
