It is nice looking, but a little wide for my monitors. I can't remember which BOINC project it was that allowed you to choose either a standard or widescreen view of the site -- possibly POEM@Home or Cosmology@Home, one of the other projects that is using a more colorful site like Docking.

OK I think I solved the problem with the size, now it should be relative to your resolution, but I'll make some tests later just to be sure its working fine. I also moved back the statistics region to the left because some of you were having problems to see it. Please let me know what would you add, change or remove to the Web page. We are also trying to put up to date the section of frequent questions, so, any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
And thank you sentient_life for the suggestion of looking at those other BOINC Web pages, I will try to get some inspiration from them.

Have a great weekend =)

For me most of the posts are high lighted in a blue background.
This then makes all links invisible unless you move your mouse over the post.

This also includes the box above where the posts and threads are that shows "Private messages" the "Write" and "Inbox" I can't see unless i move my mouse over them.

I am using Firefox on Windows XP.

I just test this on Linux and it looks and works great, with the logo up the top and highlights through the page.

It does not look anything like that on my Windows machine, for a start above the messages there is no logo and the links to account, home page, etc are just in a vertical list top left corner, blue on white background.

I like it. It looks friendly, the menu on top is fine, the width is fine, even the translation is better than usual, in the original german language package seems to be a "t" missing in the word for Answer (Antworen instead of Antwor t en).

Hi Conan, I'm trying to figure out what could be wrong. Your javascripts are enabled? I think that the problem is not OS and browser related, because I'm using XP with firefox today and I don't have that problem. But I'll try to find the solution.

Is anybody else having this problem?

G'Day Trilce,
Yes, I had a new java update only a few days ago.
Whatever you did is now working, I can see everything and it now matches my Linux machine display.
If it was a setting then I don't know what it was as I have changed nothing.
All the blue background that was hiding the links is gone and I can read the page again.
The logo now appears across the top of the page and i now have tabs across the top of the logo instead of a list down the top left side.
It does not fill the screen but that does not bother me, a couple of sites now do this such as Cosmology, but as it does not detract from the viewing I'm not to worried about it.
But it is all now ok so I am a lot happier.

Thanks again.

Great!!! Thank you for letting me know Conan. We are also working on a section to display the best docking results and a section for the docking of the day. I'm a little afraid for those sections because they will need java as well. Anyway you'll let me know if they work when they are ready.

On the "User Of the Day", I do not see the name of the actual user.

All the details about the user show, including their avatar, but no name.

I am using Windows XP and Firefox.

Hi Conan,

There was nothing wrong with your browser, the name was indeed missing. Now its fixed. The name and part of the profile are there. Today we cannot see the profile because the user of today doesn't have anything written there.

Thank you for your note. Have a good day

In "Your Account"->"Preferences"->"Docking@Home Preferences" the section titles are red on orange. They are very difficult to read. IE7/FF3.

Fixed!! =) now it is light blue, and you're right it was too hard to read. I explored the Web page, but if you find more of those hard to read sections, please let me know.
