Today I have released Dotsch/UX 1.2.

Dotsch/UX is a Linux distribution for BOINC which easily installs and boot from a USB stick, hard disk and from diskless clients and also has some interfaces to setup the diskless server and the clients automatically.

New features in 1.2 :
• Build in NVIDIA CUDA support, a additional tool to enable and check the NVIDIA CUDA support.
• Persistent Live CD mode for testing the distribution as Live CD and store the data on a USB stick/disk
• Automated and semiautomatic backup of the BOINC client data and some other OS data
• Included Ganglia for performance monitoring of the Dotsch/UX Grids
• Pre Installed BOINC client 6.10.17
• Removed a lot of unneeded packages in the x86 and x64 distribution
• A lot of bug fixes and enhancements

Today I have released Dotsch/UX 1.1. Mayor changes are the availability of a 32 bit (i386) and 64 bit (x64) distribution, mixed i386 and x64 diskless client on one single diskless server, build in BOINC client 6.4.5 and bug fixes  for the USB, hard disk, diskless server and diskless client Installation tools.

I just tried to run Docking on my Mini and am getting the same message. New application not available yet?

No. At http://docking.cis.udel.edu/status/apps.php there is no Mac OS listed for the newer application versions (7.x)

We know that, and believe me I would gladly ask for help... but it is most a problem of licenses and we cannot do it.

And what's about a non-disclosure agreement with the volunteers, like other projects has it already had done ?

Is the release of a MacOS application planed for the new applications ?

We are looking for the resources (student's time) to look at this.

is there any update to this?

I've tested Docking successfull with CrossOver on MacOS Intel. A howto is available on my homepage : http://www.dotsch.de/boinc/MacOS_Crossover_howto.html
But, it's only a workaround and did not subsitude a native MacOS application...

I got a crashing WU (Unhandled Exception Detected) as I have pressed the show graphics button short after the start of the WU : http://docking.cis.udel.edu/result.php?resultid=9027
The graphics window had only a black background and I closed and opened the graphics several times...

We are trying the new checkpointing algorithm, so we want docking to be run with other projects to test if checkpointing is working correctly.

Looks like some problems at the checkpointing with 5.08. The WU http://docking.cis.udel.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2957 has state Checked, but no consensus yet. The WU was computed from two Intel Macs. One WU of them was restarted four times.
