Message boards : Cafe Docking : ProjectPapers on boinc trac ( Message 3865 )Posted 3449 days ago by suguruhirahara On the list of Scientific publications of BOINC-based projects a publication which relate to this project was submitted. I'm not sure whether there are other papers or not, but perhaps listing up of the papers could help this project be more famous around the BOINC-community. I hope this project shall produce results and papers which appear in Nature someday... thanks, suguruhirahara |

Message boards : Number crunching : 0.00 granted credit ( Message 3864 )Posted 3449 days ago by suguruhirahara To remember what was going on in this project; here's a paper written by Ms. M.Taufer et al, namely Homogeneous Redundancy: a Technique to Ensure Integrity of Molecular Simulation Results Using Public Computing . This paper explains how HR works and why it's required. And the latest one which mentions this project is maybe this one: Moving Volunteer Computing towards Knowledge-Constructed, Dynamically-Adaptive Modeling and Scheduling . It's worthy to be read ;-) thanks, suguruhirahara |

Message boards : Wish list : Redundant result - Cancelled by server ( Message 3857 )Posted 3450 days ago by suguruhirahara Seriously though, this feature should be turned on by default, IMO. Someone go bug the BOINC devs. Many shall be amazed when tasks are silently ended with this function, with no action. I was, for example. suguruhirahara |

Message boards : Wish list : Redundant result - Cancelled by server ( Message 3854 )Posted 3450 days ago by suguruhirahara The savings against wasted crunching effort is too good to pass up. Not only does it help this project, but it helps other projects too (assuming people crunch for more than a single project). That's why I proposed it in this forum;-) suguruhirahara |

Message boards : Docking@Home Science : Charmm and the project ( Message 3851 )Posted 3450 days ago by suguruhirahara I mentioned this project on the Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHARMM See the chapter "CHARMM and Volunteer Computing". Revise and make this project more famous;-) thanks, suguruhirahara |
