For comparison, on this machine I am averaging 13.8 per CPU hour here, 15.3 per CPU hour at SZTAKI, 19.4 per CPU hour at Rosetta and 21.1 per CPU hour at Einstein and 33.8 per CPU hour at QMC. (Q6600 @ 2.4GHz, Win XP).

I have found quite similar results for my dual core lappy (T7700@2.4 Ghz) under Win x64:

  • Docking@home 14.63 cr/h
  • World Community Grid 16.36 cr/h
  • ABC@home 19.53 cr/h
  • Simap 21.91 cr/h
  • Einstein@Home 24.26 cr/h
  • QMC 29.22 cr/h
  • PrimeGrid 34.24 cr/h
  • MilkyWay@Home 35.88 cr/h

----> more details and source stats from here .

We definitely need to give you all more credits!!!

I will look at this today.

Michela

Hey, that sounds good! Any news yet? *grin*

Server status says 77 units ready to send but I get this error message:

7/17/2008 3:43:21 PM|Docking@Home|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Requesting 5480 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
7/17/2008 3:43:26 PM|Docking@Home|Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks
7/17/2008 3:43:26 PM|Docking@Home|Message from server: No work sent

Why?

Win XP Pro SP3 32bit, BOINC 5.10.45

Yeah, I'm getting these messages on all my OS's, too (Win XP 32 and 64 bit, Linux 64 bit).
Guess the server will not give those WUs away. ;-)

Cori, as Bob said, are you using 6.2.x client ?

Ah, you have caught me! ;-)))
I'll try again after a downgrade. *grin*

Thanks to you both. :-)

Hello everyone, I'm getting always this annoying error message when trying to do some testing... *sob sob* ;-)
26.06.2008 22:46:05|Docking@Home|Message from server: No work sent
26.06.2008 22:46:05|Docking@Home|Message from server: Charmm with screensaver is not available for your type of computer.

I know I have gotten work on that host before... It's my lappy . *scratches head*

I'd prefer fixed or server-side calculated Credits if possible. "Possible means either all WUs have roughly the same size (for fixed credits) or a pre-known variable size (server-side calculation).
Flops should be the next best thing, not much behind.

Benches should only come with a quorum, which itself should only come if necessary for scientific purposes.

+1

I also want to emphasize that increasing the quorum should be done only if the science requires it. Increasing the quorum purely for credit management is a horrible waste of resources. There's always a better way.

I agree with you both! ;-)))

Em ..... maybe I overread something but I have not found info about "high level" - this screen is black on my P4 with XP

Hi Inais, the "high level" isn't ready yet. ;-)

EDIT: I found it in Arun's first post here:
The high level tab does not work on the interactive mode yet.
