Message boards : Web site : Server Status ( Message 4855 )Posted 3091 days ago by Rapture I have noticed that the server status page is not kept current. In particular, the 'results ready to send' is often zero or has a very low number. How often is the server status page updated? |

Message boards : Web site : Project Papers ( Message 4835 )Posted 3105 days ago by Rapture I do not have any problem viewing the newsletters nor any of the project papers. I am using the current version Adobe Reader 9. Those two 2008 project papers do not have any links available for anyone to read. Perhaps there is a waiting period before they become public. |

Message boards : Web site : Project Papers ( Message 4833 )Posted 3105 days ago by Rapture The two project papers for 2008 listed on this website are not available. All of the other papers listed for earlier years are available. When will these two papers become available for viewing? I am interested in reading one of them. |

Message boards : Docking@Home Science : Protein-Ligand Complexes ( Message 4832 )Posted 3106 days ago by Rapture Since the project went public September 2008, what relationships, if any, are there for the work done between proteins Trypsin, HIV Protease and P38 alpha? How do you know how many and what type of ligands do you need for a particular protein in order to find their lowest energy state docking? |

Message boards : Docking@Home Science : D@H Newsletter Nr. 3 ( Message 4818 )Posted 3111 days ago by Rapture I have read the new newsletter and it is great! I was not around when the project started a few years ago but joined a few months ago. Later, I came back by the visual appeal of the updated website! I believe this will attract more volunteers now and in the future. By the way, I hope you will release more frequent newsletters in the future. Since the project's future plans has many goals to accomplish, I believe you will need to keep us informed more frequently than in the past. |

Message boards : Web site : Screensaver ( Message 4756 )Posted 3125 days ago by Rapture The screensaver is good but needs improvement. In the 'About' tab, there should be a subject called 'Screensaver'. There is a need for detailed explanation on what the information on the screensaver means. This would help us better understand and appreciate the work we are doing. |

Message boards : Docking@Home Science : What is the main goal of Docking@home ? ( Message 4755 )Posted 3125 days ago by Rapture Right now, I am crunching 1xug workunits. 1xug is not among the listed targets posted on this project's website. I suggest you show on the home page a list of current targets that we are crunching. I also suggest that you provide a detailed description of each target that is being covered so that we can know what we are crunching for. Before I forget, what is 1xug? Even though I am new, I am very impressed with the amount and readability of information here and the quick responsiveness of the project administrators on this forum. Finally, the website upgrade has inspired me to return! In fact, none of the other life-science projects' websites compares with Docking@home. |

Message boards : Web site : New Docking@Home Website ( Message 4723 )Posted 3128 days ago by Rapture What a surprise! I was not expecting to see a different layout. This is truly one giant leap for Docking@Home, one small step for docking! I love the new layout. As expected, a website design is always a work in progress that is never finished. By the way, it seems that the avatar feature on this forum does not work. Is this a bug? |

Message boards : Cafe Docking : Great screen saver ( Message 4409 )Posted 3241 days ago by Rapture I also attached to this project for the first time. I am interested in crunching my second biology/medical distributed computing project. The website design is fabulous! I consider this to be one of the best of all BOINC projects. I am amazed at the wonderful screensaver! I did not expect this alpha project to have such a great screensaver. I noticed that the movement of the graphics is slow and not smooth. Is that normal for the screensaver? |
