BOINC client 6.4.* is also messed up on work fetch and will even let some cores on a multi-core machine run dry.

I went back to 6.2.19 to get reliable work fetch and scheduling. The 6.4.* and 6.6.* versions are where they started supporting GPU computing (Nvidia CUDA) and are really messed up. Unless you're trying to use an Nvidia graphics card to do computing on Seti, I'd go back to 6.2.19

I found a slight bug. It's on the top right part of the screen, where it says "Hello! You are logged in as:" and has a line with your name.

If you go to the "Server Status" page, it changes from your name to someone else's name. When you move to any other page, it's back to showing your name again. For instance, the server status page just told me that my name was Mike Francis and a few minutes later, it said Marc Braun. I suspect this is due to the server status page being cached and showing the name of the last visitor at the time it was cached.

BTW, the new site looks wonderful.

Hi Saenger,

It's a problem with a particular series of WU going out of bounds on energy and ending the run early. If I understand correctly, it's not actually an error on the client side but something to do with the WU input file being fed to Charmm and the characteristics of the specific protein-ligand for the WU. They're working on solving the problem. See More Here:

I hope I didn't mangle the explanation too much. You really should read what the project people say in the other thread linked above.

I can't speak for the project but I do know that it's been on other stats and sig image sites, like BoincStats, BoincSynergy, mundayweb, etc. for a long time.

The site I usually see mentioned when project admins are talking about cross-project-parity is at

http://boinc.netsoft-online.com/e107_plugins/boinc/get_cpcs.php

I think that site has a bit more recent snapshot of the credit situation and seems to show changes fairly quickly. Here's a few examples from todays numbers:

SETI: 1.000 (Always 1.000 - the standard for comparison)
Rosetta: 0.891
Docking: 0.727
WCG: 0.841
CPDN: 0.905
Malaria: 0.907
Lattice: 0.972
POEM: 1.172
Superlink: 1.020
Einstein: 1.162
Primegrid: 1.173
SIMAP: 1.382
QMC: 1.548
Milkyway: 1.908

The numbers have been gradually moving lately with many projects getting closer to SETI.

I also started getting the Disk usage exceeded error, after the first couple of WU completed ok, on my text only (command line boinc 5.10.45) CentOS (RHEL with copyrighted graphics removed IIUC) system.
