Am I a Nerd? A Geek? Who knows. I have more computers than I need and still want more, bigger, better faster ones. I started dabbling with them when 64kB was all you got and I've never looked back (for those of you old enough to remember... my first computer was a Commodore 64).
I always wanted to do something with computers, perhaps as a computer programmer, but didn't quite make it. Working as a web designer, hand coding webpages is about the closest I ever got. I am currently unemployed but still do some web work, looking after my BOINC team's website (

)
Oh and as none of you would have guessed... I am into sci-fi movies. Most of my favourite TV shows and movies have "Star" in the title somewhere. Star Wars (of course), Star Trek, Stargate, Battle Beyond the Stars, Battlestar Galactica, The Last Starfighter and so on.

Interesting science.
Now that the Windows and Linux apps run at about the same speed, I look forward to seeing:
1. Less disk activity
2. Fixed Credits - especially for my poor Linux crunchers!
