Your personal background.
|
I'm a survivor of a brain tumor since '94, but in spite of that, I'm
still able to perform my job as an engineer. Chemo is a distant memory.
Here's my wife and I at Pinnacle State Park in Arkansas.
My main hobby is messing with my Linux computers and learning as much as
I can about them. I've learned to create an mp3 server recently on my
IBM pSeries running Gentoo Linux.

Your opinions about Docking@Home
|
I'm doing it for the team - SETI.USA Go team!
Distributed computing in general is a great idea. Harnessing unused
processor cycles can help projects such as this that need large amounts
of data processed. If the computers are running, they might as well be
doing something useful.
Linux CUDA apps please!
