Retired East Tennessee mountian belle. I am originaly from Houston, TX. I moved here with my roommate in 1999. I am involved with many of the DC projects and enjoy being of part of the 'larger picture'. My first project was SETI@Home. A friend was running it and the screen saver was on. I was fascinated. So I joined. The rest is history, as they say.
I do not know a lot of the science behind each project but, from the gist of it, I decide which project to attach to. Stability also plays a factor. I enjoy all of them that I am attached to and watch them all with interest. I wish more had nice screen saver. I would like to see a graphical interpretation of what I am trying to accomplish.
I ejoy new age and jazz music mostly and have a large music and video library. Sci fi/ fantasy movies are my favs. I also like westerns and the classics, especially the detective/mystery genre. I have most of the Charlie Chan collection, the complete Mr Moto, Sherlock Holmes, Boston Blackie collections and most of the John Wayne. And most all of the sci fi movies. The Matrix Trilogy is my fav.
I have a large (22lb) blk/wht male cat, 2 years old, named Rico.
I collect profiles with cats in them. Also, active female profiles. Not many of us girls in the projects, so if any of you have these profiles, please join my lists.
