It basically means that the result you retured has a different value from the other two results and therefore was marked invalid. Other people have reported problems with their pIII as well. We are investigating this.

heh, just now saw this thread. Just a few hours ago, I attached 25 P3s to this project, hashclash, and a few others that do not have work (pirates), all are 866 Coppermine with 256-384MB RAM. So in a few hours you should be getting in a few extra WUs form my P3s. I also have some of my P4s attached, but they are doing other work at the same time. So this should provide a far amount of info for you guys. If you need me to send any other data, just ask, and ill see what I can do. BTW, the P3s have a less accurate FP calculation than AMD and the P4s (calculates to less decimal places). |

Probably obvious to you guys but it works in reverse also. I get credit when two coppermines return a result first which means the other platform probably gets no credit. |

That is correct. If the PIII's happen to be the first two to return a result, they will probably get the credit for it. Of course, usually they will be beaten by a faster machine so it doesn't happen that often.
